The Glasson Branch links the Lancaster Canal to Glasson docks. It is a short canal but with fabulous views across Morecombe Bay to the distant hills of the Lake District. During the winter months bird watchers are treated to a wonderful collection of wildlife.
The canal was opened in 1820 providing the Lancaster Canal with direct link to the sea.
